J'ai obtenu mon diplôme de docteur en médecine en 1986 à l'Université de Louvain. En 1992, j'ai terminé ma formation en maladies internes et pulmonaires et je me suis qualifiée en bronchoscopie et procédures pleurales. En 1991, j'ai été reconnu comme spécialiste en médecine interne, en 1998 comme pneumologue. En 1997, j'ai reçu le titre de professionnel en soins intensifs, en 2014 le titre de professionnel en oncologie thoracique. Je travaille comme pneumologue à Renaix depuis 1992, où j'ai développé le laboratoire du sommeil. Je pratique la pneumologie générale, l'endoscopie invasive, les procédures pleurales et l'oncologie thoracique en étroite collaboration avec le Dr Gysbrechts, le Dr Hill, le Dr Verschuere et le Dr Van Ryckeghem. Je participe régulièrement à des consultations multidisciplinaires sur le cancer, à des consultations de radiologie thoracique et de maladie pulmonaire interstitielle et à la formation continue du service des maladies internes. Je suis également stagiaire stagiaire en médecine interne et formation en pneumologie.
